Educational concept
We want to promote a good start in life for our children with the right mix of care, protection, and room for free movement and expression.
Specifically, the following goals are to be achieved:
• Feeling of security
• Experiencing a second language as an early habit
• Promoting musical interests and abilities
• Ensuring co-existence of different age groups
• Closeness to nature
• Demonstrating Christian Values
To achieve this, we have established the following educational priorities:
• The education of children is based on biblical principles. The Christian faith and its associated values form an optimal basis to provide children with support and guidance and to build up security and respect in them. Consequently they will be better prepared for life in society through constructive and mutual cooperation.
Together we celebrate traditional festivals such as Christmas, Easter, St. Nicholas, or the lantern procession for St. Martins Day and of course the childrens birthdays

• For the children to be familiar and confident with the English language. The sounds of English words and their meaning will be brought close to them by a native speaker in the form of plays, poems and songs.
• For the children to develop independence and explore their creative energies and talents in a loving atmosphere. They can experiment with different forms of musical expression using the various instruments provided and learn songs in German and English.
• The group has a maximum of 14 children aged from 0 to 6 years. This emphasises the family character and gives children the opportunity to learn from each other and deal responsibly and respectfully with younger and older ones.
• For the children to develop independence and explore their creative energies and talents in a loving atmosphere. They can experiment with different forms of musical expression using the various instruments provided and learn songs in German and English.
• The group has a maximum of 14 children aged from 0 to 6 years. This emphasises the family character and gives children the opportunity to learn from each other and deal responsibly and respectfully with younger and older ones.
• Community Togetherness will be provided in the lounge room. Here they are able to sing, read, be read to, and learn from the children's library (alphabet and number sequences). Here they will also eat and tidy away together.
• There is a separate sleeping room with mattresses for the bigger kids, cots for small ones and soft toys to provide them the opportunity to step aside from the busy life of the group and re-energise.
• Especially for city children, it is important to witness the changing seasons through nature awareness and to let off steam in the fresh air. For this the nearby Prater Park with its broad lawns and playgrounds is ideal. On the way to the park we use the opportunity to practice with the children the correct behaviour in traffic situations.
• Close collaboration with parents is very important for us. Often we already know the parents through the counselling work of the „Österreichische Lebensbewegung" and it is our concern, especially for those that we have supported from before the birth of the child, to continue to support.
In particular for single parents, who often bear a great burden, we want to assist and support them in everyday life and to take on some of that burden.
Through regular parents' evenings a trusting, open atmosphere will be encouraged. Even for those deeper exchanges on a one to one basis we will gladly take the time. Moreover, there is always the possibility of using the independent women's counselling centre of the „Österreichische Lebensbewegung"
For festivals and celebrations such as Advent , Christmas, Easter or a summer barbecue, the parents are also always included.
